The Opportunity

We are seeking motivated and physically fit Furniture Removalists and Offsiders to join our growing team.

You will play an important role in safely packing, transporting, and delivering furniture and goods for both residential and commercial clients.

Based at our Neerabup depot, you’ll work locally and occasionally travel to regional WA for overnight assignments.

This is a hands-on role that suits individuals who enjoy physical work, teamwork, and variety in their day.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely pack, load, secure, and unload furniture and goods.

• Conduct pre-transport checks and ensure all items are handled with care.

• Drive removal vehicles (for drivers) or assist with navigation and unloading (for offsiders).

• Maintain clean and well-presented vehicles and equipment.

• Provide excellent customer service, representing Adlam Transport with professionalism and courtesy.

• Adhere to workplace safety standards at all times.

Skills & Attributes

• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items safely.

• Team player with strong communication skills.

• Attention to detail to prevent damage and manage inventories accurately.

• Reliable and punctual, with a proactive attitude.

• Customer-focused, with good problem-solving skills in challenging environments (stairs, tight spaces, etc.).

• Mechanical aptitude or experience operating trolleys, straps, or forklifts (advantageous).

Licence Requirements

• Offsiders: Minimum C Class Driver’s Licence required.

• Drivers: Minimum MR Licence, with HR Licence preferred.

• A clean driving record and safety-conscious attitude are essential.
